Prunella vulgaris, known as common selfheal, heal-all, is a medicinal plant
in the genus Prunella. In Western medicine, Heal All has always been regarded
primarily as a wound herb, giving rise to many of its common names (Woundwort,
Wound Root, etc.). In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Heal All was used as a
liver and gallbladder stimulant and was used to treat conjunctivitis,
hypertension and headaches, among other disorders. Heal All is reported to
reduce lymphatic congestion and has been used to relieve swollen glands, mumps
