Pharmacological Action:

1. Flavonoid glycoside, one of its components, increases coronary flow, reduces myocardial oxygen consumption and lowers arterial pressure.
2. Cardiotonic on frogs' hearts in vitro; low concentration of its extract exerts a vaqso constrictive effect on the vessels of frog's leg and high concentration, vasodilative.
3. Its liquid extract shortens clotting time and exerts hemostatic effect in rabbit.
