Ingredients:
Weeping forsythia fruit
Chrysanthemum flower
Coptis root
Inula flower
Wind mint
Cape Jasmine fruit

Actions: Dispels wind-heat, neutralizes toxic heat, and purges internal heat in the stomach and lungs.

Indications: Primarily used for serious exogenous invasion to upper burner causing high fever, headache, sore throat, and ear infection. Beneficial for wind-heat in the skin causing redness and itching, including hives. Use for endogenous heat in the stomach channel causing swollen gums, toothache, nosebleed, insomnia, and red eye. Useful for heat and damp-heat in lower burner causing constipation, diarrhea or concentrated scanty urine.*

三黄片处方来源于《金匮要略》。传统应用于面红口干，口疮痈肿，身热烦渴、湿热黄疸，或热盛迫血所致吐血、衄血等病症。现代通过临床实践，有新应用：

1、高脂血症：三黄片每次3－4片（每片0．25克，相当于生药0．61克），每日两次，15天为一个疗程。

2、急性细菌性痢疾：口服三黄片，每次4片，日服3次。多则5日，少则3日显良效。该药对痢疾杆菌、大肠杆菌均有抑制作用。配方中大黄有泻下作用，还可减少肠道对毒素的吸收，故三黄片对痢疾有良效。

3、痤疮：三黄片每次服3－4片，每日3次。3天为一个疗程。一般用药3－5个疗程后局部红肿可消除，疼痛感消失。治疗期间忌食辛辣、油腻、煎炸之品。

4、化脓性中耳炎：先用棉签将患耳脓液擦干，然后用双氧水冲洗，再将三黄片去糖衣后研为细末吹入耳道内少许，每日1次，用药3－7天即可。
